Alice in Wonderland (2010)

Alice in Wonderland (2010), directed by Tim Burton, isn’t your typical tea party — it’s a bold, twisted return to Wonderland with more attitude, more madness, and way more eyeliner 🖤🎩. This isn’t the Alice you remember… and that’s kind of the point.

Mia Wasikowska’s Alice is older, braver, and way more rebellious. She’s not just falling down a rabbit hole — she’s running from a world trying to put her in a box. Wonderland (or “Underland” as they call it now) becomes the perfect place for her to rediscover her strength and own her identity 💪🐇.

Visually? Pure Burton. It’s weird, dark, whimsical, and totally mesmerizing — with twisted landscapes, giant chessboards, and characters that teeter between creepy and endearing. Johnny Depp as the Mad Hatter brings chaos and heart, Helena Bonham Carter is hilariously evil as the Red Queen (“Off with their heads!”), and Anne Hathaway’s White Queen is like a walking perfume ad — in the best way 👑🌹

But the real magic? Alice’s journey of self-discovery. It’s not about destiny — it’s about choice. She slays the Jabberwocky because she chooses to, not because she was told to.

This Wonderland is wild, empowering, and wonderfully mad 🫖✨🗡️
